The first step began with the ascure (ascure) smoking cessation program aiming to improve smoking cessation success rates with a "complete online 6 month support" application with non-smoking instructors.

In recent years, increased efforts to promote health awareness in companies and health insurance agencies have become an issue due to the soaring medical costs that occur when employees fall ill and the associated effects to employee productivity etc. Health management centered on the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the "data health plan" of the Ministry of Health, as well as labor and welfare are being promoted.
Smoking is said to be the largest factor in adult deaths (1), as well as lifestyle diseases and mental health measures. Thus it is an important theme for controlling employee health and medical expenses. Smoking cessation has a success rate of about 5% without any outside intervention (2). The success rate smoking cessation after one year of attending a medical institution for treatment is only about 30% (* 3). Clearly a more satisfying smoking cessation program is required and conceivable.
Amid these circumstances, we are utilizing the results of our company president Kota Satake who actually engaged in smoking cessation practice as a respiratory physician and the knowledge of mobile health obtained through our "therapeutic application" developed for medical institutions by providing the following.
We aim to improve the success rate of smoking cessation and in addition to this, our program can be provided at less than 30% of the cost of current conventional smoking cessation outpatient programs.

I.Fulfilling Support for "Psychological Dependence"
Even though nicotine addiction has physical and psychological dependency aspects, physical dependence can be treated with medicine. Treating the psychological dependence aspect requires dealing with the vacant periods of the time when patients are out-of-hospital, staying home or out at other places in between hospitals visits (2 weeks to 1 month).
In this program, a specialized non-smoking instructor who has teaching experience in a non-smoking outpatient program combines with an application developed by a doctor to follow up with patients on the psychological dependence aspects of nicotine addiction.
II. "Completely Online" Without the Need to Visit a Hospital
Smoking cessation guidance available online from start to finish with medicine delivered to the patient at home. We will eliminate the burden of hospitalization for non-smokers and provide an environment that is easy to handle for smoking cessation. This program is suitable for those who are busy as we are available for contact until 10:00 pm weekdays and Saturdays.
III.Long-term support for 6 months which prevents "eventually returning to smoking" after the end of treatment.
Considering that in standard 2 to 3 month non-smoking outbreak / smoking cessation programs, many people resume smoking after completing treatment, we support patients over the course the course of six months and contribute to their success in smoking cessation "sustainability".
We have already decided to introduce this program in the domestic manufacturing industry (Tokyo Stock Exchange partial listing), and several companies are considering its introduction. In the future, we will increase introduction enterprises with a wide range of proposals and awareness activities.

In the US and Europe, mobile health programs utilizing smartphone applications are among venture companies where applications are developed for medical institutions and offered to the private sector are beginning to appear. As a pioneer in the field of mobile health for medical institutions in Japan, we also expanded our "health management support program" to corporations so that the knowledge accumulated in the development of "therapeutic applications" for medical institutions can be used to promote the health of private companies.
